Last Friday we had the opportunity to shoot with a much larger group than usual by the Moakley Courthouse. It was so much fun to work with so many dynamic personalities and to capture the different family aspects all together! We love working with families that are so close and want to document that with an updated family session! Just to give you a little background on this tight knit family: First we want to introduce you to Frank and Judy- the grandparents, who last October 1st celebrated their 46 year anniversary! What an amazing and inspirational thing to see!!! Mike and Maureen are brother and sister and both chose the same career as accountants! Mike and his wife Tracy have two beautiful children together. Kiersten is 8 and the sweetest little girl you've ever met, and her brother Braeden is 6 and as you can tell in the images, is a fun loving little boy with tons of personality. Maureen and her husband Neal have a two year old little boy, named Declan. He was adorable, dressed for his big picture day, although I think he was much more impressed with the horse that was walking around than our camera! :)
For the session, the family wanted to stay casual but decided on a matching color scheme. The blue tones looked awesome and everyone seemed comfortable, despite us snapping away! We asked if they had words of wisdom for other families preparing for a family session and they had this advice to give, "Enjoy the session and have fun. Maybe do a session at a family party so you're not focused on the camera."
That sounds like a great idea and so fun!!!! We look forward to capturing more family groups and thank you to all of the family members for allowing us to be a part of your day before the Children's Museum! We hope you enjoy this sneak peak from the session! :)
