Joanna and Nick's Beacon Hill Engagement Session- Boston Wedding Photography

Joanna and Nick's story started and continued all at the Warren Tavern in Charlestown and although we didn't shoot there during the session I still feel the need to tell their story.  Especially because I LOVE that place and their delicious kielbasa!  Anyway, I digress....

Nick and Joanna were originally set up through a mutual friend. They exchanged info, deciding to meet up at The Warren Tavern in Charlestown to officially meet face to face. Together they cheered on the Bruins during the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs and continued to watch the games together until they won that year!  Fast forward to the 3 1/2 years anniversary of meeting.  Joanna unknowingly, invited herself to her own proposal back at The Warren Tavern! Luckily, they were on the same page and that had been Nick's plan all along.  After he asked her to marry him with the most perfect ring, the bar quickly filled with family and friends!

Starting out at the Public Library we were able to shoot around the beautiful architecture while getting this couple comfortable in front of the camera.  We continued our walk through Copley Square and into Beacon Hill, capturing more of iconic Boston and the city feel which will be opposite of their wedding day backdrop.  They are getting married at the Tupper Manor in Beverly with Nick's childhood friend officiating!  We can't wait to be there to capture another beautiful day with this couple!
