This weekend we had the pleasure of working with a fantastic couple at such an emotional wedding! We really have enjoyed getting to know Rhonda and Mark and watching them say their vows was such a beautiful moment. Rhonda was such a cool and collected bride the whole day, never once having pre-wedding jitters. When I asked if she was nervous, she calmly said, "No, I love this man so much!". Mark was equally excited and couldn't wait to see his bride during their private first look, surrounded in the gorgeous landscape of the Lanam Club in Andover. After some pictures it was time to head to one of the cutest little chapels we have worked in, the West Parish Chapel. It was a scene out of a movie, so romantic and perfect!
I found it so touching that after their ceremony, the wedding party wanted to pay their respects to Mark's close friend that had unfortunately passed way too early. Even though I never had the privilege of meeting him, after the beautiful words said at his grave I felt as I had known him all my life. It was incredibly moving to watch so many of his friends and family paying their respects on this important day. And that wasn't the only time they wanted to show how important those who have passed were to them. During our day of event slideshow, they wanted to include photos of those loved ones to make sure even though they were gone, they were never forgotten. We were so honored to be there to document this highly emotional and touching day.
Although, this is technically our job, we can't believe how blessed we are to meet people like Rhonda and Mark and build lasting friendships in the process. It is so incredibly rewarding and we look forward to the many more stories and lives we are able to document and enjoy! Congrats to you both, we wish you all the best and are still so jealous of your amazing honeymoon you are enjoying right now! Eat some pasta for us!!!!
