Christine and Peter's day in the North End for engagement photography

I had the privilege of shooting with Christine and Peter in our neighborhood a few weeks ago.  What a gorgeous couple and boy did they make things easy for me.  We had a great time walking looking for some creative places in the North End.  I can't wait for their wedding later this year!  We always ask for a little insight into our couples lives in their own words, so here are a few sneak peeks from the session as well as some words from our couple!

How did you two meet?

We met at the University of Hartford in 2009. We were both students and were at a party and instantly noticed each other. It was love at first sight and we have been together ever since.

Tell us the proposal story~

Our family had been planning a long awaited trip to Italy for over a year. Our first stop was Venice and we were all anxious to jump on a gondola. While navigating though the back canals Pete started saying something very special to me and pulled out a gorgeous diamond. I was in shock as I wasn't expecting to get engaged for at least another year. Thank god we had FaceTime so I could call all my friends and family to share such surprising news. It was the best vacation and surprise of my life. Venice will always have a special place in our hearts.

What details are you most excited about for your wedding?

Since we love Italy so much we are having our rehearsal dinner and first look pictures the north end. We are also excited about our own custom details. We are doing the centerpieces and lanterns for the Church.

What look were you going for in your engagement session?  The look of Love

Do you have any tips or advice for couples getting ready for their session?

Be comfortable in your attire and pick an atmosphere that is special to you

How was your overall session experience?

It was a really great experience. Christian made us feel comfortable and gave us a lot of direction which we needed. He was very creative and loved all the different angles. He was even laying down on the street for just the right angle.
