Rebecca and Brian's fall engagement photography

This time of year is always challenging, with weddings and shoots.  It's amazing to make images all over the city in the fall.  I had the pleasure to shoot some engagement photography a few weeks ago with Brian and Rebecca.  We started downtown and then went out to their new neighborhood, on the beach in Revere.  Here are a few sneak peeks as well as a few words from the couple about their story!

How did you two meet?
We met online. We dated for a month and then reconnected several years later. We dated for 10 months before getting engaged.

Tell us the proposal story~
Becca: Brian told me (last minute) when I was at work that I needed to dress up for the dinner that I was going to with him later that night, to meet one of his friends. Of course I had nothing nice to wear and quickly picked up a dress downtown before heading home. It was December 24th.  Before dinner we had to stop at what will be our new home soon, in Revere Beach, to pick-up the radon test to mail, as part of the home inspection.
I entered the home with him and we went down to the basement and then back upstairs. Shortly thereafter he got down on one knee and what happened next differs depending on who you ask. :) All that matters though is that Brian proposed, I said yes right away and we get to spend the rest of our lives together.

What details are you most excited about for your wedding? EX. cake, vendors, location, etc.

Becca: The vows, the food, the chandeliers and sparklers and the all night hip hop party.

Brian: Getting to spend the rest of my life with the woman I love.

What look were you going for in your engagement session?

Becca: To show how much we love each other even though it was sunny and windy and I felt silly posing. Incorporating the custom house clock in the background (it's my favorite building in Boston) and the beach outside our front steps.
Brian: To not look stupid
